ISL currently contributes to a PIANC report on Automated Terminal Planning, which will assist port authorities and terminal operators during the planning and implementation phase of container terminal automation. Beginning of December, 2019, ISL’s Dr. Nils Meyer-Larsen attended a meeting of the PIANC Working Group 208 in Brussels, which prepares the report. In particular, ISL will contribute with its profound knowledge in the fields of Supply Chain Security and maritime Cybersecurity. ISL’s partner akquinet port consulting GmbH will contribute to the report as well, covering the topics of container terminal simulation and emulation.
